•    What is The Sleep Code and how does it work?
The Sleep Code is a two-part audio program that has multi-layered voices, music and surf sounds to help the listener through self-hypnosis to relax to the point that they will naturally sleep all night long.

This unique audio program takes you to the deepest states of relaxation to first get to sleep and then simultaneously helps the listener heal their body and mind at the quantum level of healing. Your Super Conscious Mind, which is the part of everyone that is limitless and powerful by nature and has the potential to achieve any outcome asked of it. It is asked to first scan your body and mind and then motivate your immune system to heal any physical issues before they can worsen. It is then asked to recognize and heal any underlying emotional triggers or factors that could contribute to your physical issues.

The Sleep Code came about after a close friend of Ted’s mentioned that he could not sleep well and was getting concerned because he found himself listless and tired all day long because of his lack of sleep. He had tried everything and didn’t want to take drugs to get to sleep. He realized that sleep is especially important to older people because of a recently published scientific study that found that Alzheimer’s patients had more bi-products of mental activity (waste material) in their brains than other people. The report explained that since the brain does not have a lymph system, it must rely upon the body’s cerebral-spinal fluid to flush out the brain area, and it notably ONLY does that while you sleep. The deeper you sleep, the better the cleansing process works.

Many friends and family members had also mentioned having problems getting to or staying asleep all night. The Sleep Code was developed to help everyone get a good night’s sleep and give them a way of getting back to sleep if they woke up in the middle of the night. The Sleep Code is a two part audio program that is self-hypnosis that will help the listener relax so much that they will naturally sleep all night long.

The Super Conscious Mind defies precise definition, but we believe it is all-knowing and powerful enough to find whatever is amiss within each listener’s body and heal it when asked to do so. While it defies definition, we know from experience it responds to the requests to help you heal your body and mind. •    How does The Sleep Code work?
This audio program first familiarizes you with Hypnosis in the introductory talk and then guides you to the deepest levels of hypnosis so you can access your Super Conscious Mind. We then ask it to scan your physical body for any pre-conditions to illness or disease present within your body – especially at minuscule levels. The Super Conscious Mind can do this because we believe it is the all-knowing and all-powerful part of your mind and from experience we see the results of such requests.

Once the scan is completed, we ask it to heal whatever needs to be healed and it will, as long as it is in your highest and best interest. We then ask your Super Conscious Mind to direct and motivate your immune system to do its job and attack invaders or aberrant cellular activity. While there are some studies underway, there is no scientific verification for these type of results yet other than our own experiences of the process. The audio program is also infused with positive emotions to activate the subconscious mind and use the placebo effect from within your mind.

•    How will I know if The Sleep Code is working for me?
First you will find yourself falling asleep easier and sleeping through the night. Then you will find yourself awakening in the morning feeling well-rested and ready to meet the day with power, strength, an even temper and a more peaceful mind. Most people find they no longer have to get up in the middle of the night to urinate or they find their frequency is reduced. Or, while they still may wake up in the middle of the night, they realize they can put their headphones or ear buds back on and listen to The Sleep Code again and quickly fall back to sleep and sleep throughout the rest of the night.

As for the healing aspect of The Sleep Code, you may never know if it works for you - except you may retain or regain optimal health for yourself. It is intended to primarily work as a prophylactic to deal with pre-conditions to illness and disease and eliminate them before they can get any larger. At that level of development, there are usually no overt symptoms showing for you to feel or see in your body. In fact, such early conditions may not be able to be detected even by medical machinery at early stages. It is not likely that you will feel or see a change when such a pre-condition is eradicated by your own mind and immune system. It is more a matter of what you will not see – symptoms of something wrong in your body. That is exactly what you want, to never feel or see symptoms of illness or disease ever again. Perhaps the best way to decide whether the healing aspects of the The Sleep Code have worked for you is if you do not materialize negative physical symptoms, then one conclusion you may draw is it worked for you and kept you healthy. •    When is the best time to use the audio program, during the day or at night?
It depends on when you want to get a good “night’s” sleep. Whichever is best for you. If you choose to listen during the day, then that is your best time. If you listen at night as you retire (as most people do), you will most likely get a sound night’s sleep by listening. You will also awaken on time in the morning, feeling refreshed, renewed and energetic. There is a suggestion in the program for you to take your headphones off or ear buds out at the end of the program just before you drift off to sleep and it will not interfere with your sleep which works well from our experience. Basically, you may choose to listen at whatever time works best for you.

•    How long should I listen to this program so it will be effective?
It can be effective immediately, however, we believe the more you listen, the better it works. We find it best to listen to the first audio program at least 10 days (or nights) in succession, and then listen to the second audio program nightly as often as you feel like you want to use it. There is no way to tell when it will be fully accepted by the deeper parts of your mind - on the first or the twenty-first time you listen (although it usually takes 21 days to change a habit). The best thing you can do is continue to listen whenever you’re having a hard time getting to sleep and it will take you into deep hypnosis and then support as you drift off to sleep. The more you listen to it, the more effective the two audio programs become.

•    Can everyone be hypnotized?
Yes! Everyone goes enters and leaves hypnosis on a fairly regular basis every day. You are usually in that state whenever you are watching TV and are engrossed, or reading a good book, playing video games, and even sometimes while driving. It's like that half sleep state you are in when you are just waking up or just about to go to sleep. You are not fully conscious, but you’re not entirely sleeping either. You’re in a half state between the two and you're often up to 200 times more suggestible than when you are fully awake.

Some people may think, "I can't be hypnotized," and they could be right because hypnosis is a consent state of mind. That means they must want to and consent to being hypnotized in order to be hypnotized. However, most people can be easily hypnotized - if they want to and they trust the Hypnotist.

Many movies have misled the public about what hypnosis is and isn’t. First, there is nothing to worry about and nobody can control your mind. You are always in control since all hypnosis is self-induced. More than that, your conscious mind is never lost or gone. It just steps aside for a while, as you are guided into an altered state of mind which we call hypnosis. Your conscious mind may actually comment on things while you’re in hypnosis, but it will generally not interfere with your state or whatever is happening – unless something untoward is done – then it will step in and bring you out of hypnosis. When you are in hypnosis, you can have a very effective session and still be aware of everything that is going on and be able to recall everything said during the session – or not – depending upon the suggestions give to you and accepted while in hypnosis.

•    What if I'm too intelligent for the audio program to be able to “put me under?”
Actually, you are never “put under.” You simply relax and enter hypnosis (remember, it’s a natural state of mind that occurs daily). Interestingly, the more intelligent you are, the easier it often is for you to be hypnotized - when you want to be. Many times, more intelligent people are in a natural hypnotic state already and recognize that it feels relaxing and enjoyable, so they are eager to enter that state of mind again.

•    Is it possible for me to get into such a deep hypnotic trance that I can't wake up?
No, this cannot happen. First, you’re not “asleep” so there is nothing to “wake up” from. In fact, it has been discovered that nobody “gets stuck” in hypnosis, but they sometimes choose to remain there longer - because they’re enjoying it so much. In reality, you can always be emerged from hypnosis. If you steadfastly choose to remain in hypnosis, all that would happen is you’d naturally fall asleep and awaken in your own time. Plus, there are other ways of making sure you will quickly and easily emerge from the deeper states when it is time to emerge which are included in the audio program.

•    Will I remember everything that happens during my hypnosis session?
Yes. Most people remember everything that is said, but some people are natural "somnambulists" (meaning they like to be in a hypnotic state and go into it easily) who go in so deeply that they don’t consciously remember what happens during hypnosis unless the hypnotist tells them that they will. They often think they simply fell asleep. In fact, it is a good thing when you just “drift away” and/or “disappear” into the words you’re listening to and relax fully. Most people will achieve a moderate to deep state of hypnosis in which they know what is being said while they are completely relaxed and focused on the words.

•    What if I fall asleep while listening?
The audio program is intended to work in that way. Researchers have discovered that your hearing is always active and listening – even during surgery. Even as you close your eyes, your ears will still hear everything and your mind will remain in a heightened state of alertness as you listen intently while you are hypnotized. When you fall asleep, your mind is still hearing and a part of your mind is recording everything it hears and it is processing and internalizing it the whole time.

•    Is it better to use headphones when listening to a Hypnosis audio program?
Yes, we recommend you use noise-cancelling headphones for best results, but it is not necessary to get results, especially if you listen as you go to sleep. Ear buds work quite nicely and just about as effectively.

•    Will I feel any physical changes to my body as a result of listening to The Sleep Code?
You may or you may not. Ultimately, it’s up to you and your body and how well you accept the suggestions and how well your Super Conscious Mind does what it is asked to do. You will likely find you’re more relaxed, less stressed or less anxious about life in general or about anything in particular. You may find some of your physical issues may subside, like headaches or your menstrual period may become less painful (we have had these comments forwarded to us). Perhaps your prostrate will shrink a bit and you won’t have to get up at night to empty your bladder as often (as we’ve noticed during our tests).

There is no guarantee of any of those things happening. Any number of things may overtly change - or you may not notice anything changing at all. But that doesn’t mean that nothing has changed or shifted in your body and/or mind. Many times we just don’t notice small things happening - until they grow large enough for us to notice or we feel actual symptoms acutely. The absence of symptoms is what you will want to watch for after listening to The Sleep Code for a while. The primary thing you want to be aware of is whether you’re getting a good night’s sleep and/or remaining asleep all night and/or are able to get back to sleep after waking up in the middle of the night. Then you know The Sleep Code is working for you.

•    Will my mental well-being and attitude change?
Yes, some people will feel a difference right away. It may first show up for by getting a deeper “sleep” or you may feel more relaxed as you’re listening and afterward. The initial hypnosis is not sleep, it is deep relaxation while your mind is focused. That leads you to a deeper relaxation and quieting of your thoughts, which then allows you to get to sleep and gently leads you into to that transition. If that doesn’t happen for you the first few times - keep listening until you notice that it feels like you’ve fallen asleep or “disappeared” while listening. Be assured, you’re not initially sleeping - you’re drifting into hypnosis and you become a better hypnotic subject with the passage of time. The more you listen and allow the system to work on its own, the better it will work for you. Eventually, you’ll notice you start to get a great night’s sleep every time you listen. Then you will likely notice you are not only well rested, but you awaken in the morning feeling refreshed and looking forward to meeting and greeting the day. That is a great attitude to exude and feel throughout the day.

•    How long will it take to make changes in my body and mind?
Again, it is as individual as each person. It is unknown how long it will take for you to be effective. Every listener is an individual and the audio program is oriented to each person. It is up to you how well you surrender to the process and how well your Super Conscious Mind accepts the requests for scanning and healing your body. Ultimately, it comes down to whether you fall asleep easily and sleep deeply and how well your immune system responds to the directions of your Super Conscious Mind.

It is best if you don’t try to help. Just listen to the program regularly and allow The Sleep Code and your Super Conscious Mind to do what needs to be done for you - without any assistance from you. In other words, surrender to the process and know The Sleep Code will work for you and it WILL work for you. Remember, if you are just going to “give it a try” or “see how good it works,” then it most likely WON’T work for you. Part of the process of this program is attributed to the placebo effect, which holds that if you unequivocally believe something will work for you - it will work for you. •    What is the placebo effect?
The placebo effect is a well known phenomena that occurs when something (such as a substituted sugar pill) is given in place of an actual drug to relieve a symptom and it works nonetheless – as if it was the drug - despite the fact that the capsule has no drugs in it. That means that when the patient/client believes strongly enough that the placebo is going to work for them, their body will respond as they expect it to respond (as if they had been given the drug they expected). Many scientific experiments have verified that the mind is what determines how responsive you are to the so-called sugar pill/placebo. We believe that all healing occurs because the mind believes that what you’ve been given will work to heal the body or mind.

•    Can The Sleep Code work on pre-existing disease or illness?
While it is a possibility, again, The Sleep Code is primarily intended to address sleeping problems. The healing aspect is intended to address any pre-conditions to illness and disease before they get too far advanced and need medical intervention. Whether you get results with existing medical conditions will largely depend upon how much you believe it will work on such existing conditions. If you absolutely know The Sleep Code and your Super Conscious Mind have the power to dedicate and direct your immune system at an established illness, then there is a better likelihood that it will succeed than not. However, as mentioned before, if you just give it a try or hope it will work, then it will not likely work for you. It comes down to how much you believe. The more you know it will work, the better the likely outcome will be for you. If you are already suffering from a serious illness or disease that has become so advanced that you require medical and/or psychological assistance, make sure to maintain your medical and/or psychological treatment until your physician or mental health professional confirms that the disease or illness has been eradicated or is in remission and you are on your way back to good health again.
